It represents the emerging category of “closed-loop” AI agents that can handle complex tasks from start to finish rather than assisting with individual steps.

When you assign Manus a task — summarize competitive landscape in my industry, build me a web scraper for this site, research and compile a report on this topic, or set up a project with this specification — it breaks the task into sub-steps, uses a browser and code interpreter to execute them, iterates when it encounters obstacles, and delivers a finished artifact: a document, a codebase, a dataset, or a report.
